From Brampton (CA8):
From Brampton head to Longtown (A6071). Keep going past William Howard School. Over 2 bridges. Take 2nd right (signposted to Hethersgill, and Roadhead). Once in Hethersgill you come to a crossroads/junction - go straight over. After about one and a half/ 2 miles bend to right (signposted Roadhead). Approx half mile, past white house and bungalow on right, past farmhouse on right and big green agricultural buildings on opposite side.  There are 2 telegraph poles on LHS and then the driveway on left for Whinney Brow, continue all the way down the driveway (past the bungalow) to the farm at the bottom. (If you reach the PEAT works on RHS on the main road, you have gone too far!)
 
From Longtown (CA6):
From Longtown head towards Brampton (A6071), take Left turning towards Roadhead. Follow BLUE signs for Sinclair Traffic. At junction, turn left at cream/grey house (Blue Sinclair Traffic sign). Turn right at T junction (Blue Sinclair Traffic sign). T junction, turn left (signposted Roadhead and Bewcastle) (Blue Sinclair Traffic sign). Past white house and bungalow on right, past farmhouse on right and big green agricultural buildings on opposite side.  There are 2 telegraph poles on LHS and then the driveway on left for Whinney Brow, continue all the way down the driveway (past the bungalow) to the farm at the bottom. (If you reach the PEAT works on RHS on the main road, you have gone too far!)

From M6 Junction 44:
Roundabout – A7  North, Galashiels. Through Harker. Blackford. 1st right (signposted Scaleby). After about 3 miles, turn right at T junction to Brampton A6071. Immediately turn left (signposted to Roadhead). Follow BLUE signs for Sinclair Traffic. At junction, turn left at cream/grey house (Blue Sinclair Traffic sign).
